LEARNING in Uppercase

And how do my training workshops usually begin? For those of you who already know me, the answer is easy, very easy, with questions.

Well, after many years, I have realized that the key to starting a training session is to create a powerful learning environment.

Even though as an attendee you know you are going to participate in a training experience, you are often not prepared for it.

From my point of view, the key is to start by establishing the rules of the learning game:

The first rule is to open the mind and empty it of all that mental noise that invades most of us: thousands of thoughts and worries that come and go, which are probably important issues but not in this "here and now".

And after having a receptive attitude towards learning, it is also necessary to ensure that this learning integrates into us to become a habit. And how? you might ask.

It is key to emphasize with the team the importance of noting down our learnings and feelings about a worked idea. And it is also necessary to do this after the experience, immediately afterward. For this, it is essential to have a notebook (physical or electronic) to capture those two or three important ideas. This way, you can frequently revisit them. This is the secret to success in learning. How many ideas have we read, learned at some point that made you go Wow! and then got buried under a pile of added data?

And to select your best learnings, ask yourself is this learning really relevant, is it going to significantly change something in my life? Is it important to integrate it into myself?

If so, note it down and revisit it periodically. But be careful! If you don't, this investment of time and energy will be absolutely useless. Our mind is very forgetful and, although we wish it weren't so, it forgets the important things too!!!

And do you know what this routine will bring you?

It will fill you again with the energy and resources you valued as relevant.

It will make you more aware of the ideas you were provided with at the time

You will be able to use
