Make an effort to feel good

Make an effort to feel good

Let's strive to feel good, it's something I often reiterate in my training workshops.

There are many obstacles in the day that divert us from our goals, from our well-being.

And today, more than ever, in this highly competitive world, where we live in a rush as something commonplace, it becomes essential to make the decision to do to feel good.

And you may ask yourself, do what things? Well, I'm not referring to taking care of yourself in the sense of going to the gym, watching your diet, going to the hairdresser, or wearing your favorite clothes. Although that too!

I mean:

  • Stop, take a pause in your hectic day
  • Evaluate how you are:

-What is going through your mind?

-How is your body responding?

-What emotion prevails in you?

-Is this what you want?

  • Whatever the result: Accept yourself, instead of beating yourself up because what you evaluate is not the best, not what you desired.
  • Redirect (when necessary) starting from: your calm breathing, a positive thought, body movements, music, or any other resource that particularly helps you
  • And finally, mentally tell yourself “I want to feel good,” “I am feeling good,” “I am well”

Channeling your energy in this way towards doing to feel as best as possible (in some cases) and feeling good, in most.

This very simple exercise will take you a few minutes, very few or as much time as you want to invest. In just one minute, you can do a scan that leads you to become aware and make the decision, because it is a conscious decision, to want to feel good or at least better, instead of letting your autopilot play tricks on you.

And most importantly, at what point in your day will you decide to stop, reflect, and then do to feel good? It is necessary to commit to yourself to pause at certain moments of the day. If you make this a daily habit, repeating it at least 3 times a day, I assure you that

you will notice a significant difference between Before and After.
